The company was founded 2013 in partnership with the VON ARDENNE GmbH from Dresden. The company is located in the Technology Center of Chemnitz, which is situated in the eastern part of Germany. As manufacturer of advanced ion beam and plasma processing systems, scia Systems established itself in a very short time on the worldwide market. The target customers of the company are companies and research institutes in the field of Microelectronics, MEMS and precision optical manufacturing. For individual customer support scia Systems built up a worldwide network of sales and service partners, which ensures an optimum customer support locally.
The service range of scia Systems includes the development, design, manufacturing and after-sales service. In addition to complete systems the company provides components, like ion beam sources. Due to the team of experienced employees and stringent quality management, scia Systems achieved an ISO 9001 certification already in the first quarter of 2014.
